Hays Quarterly Report: Spike in Demand for Skilled Temporary Workers in Japan

17 Jul 2012 12:10 | JHRS (Administrator)
"Demand has remained steady for skilled professionals in Japan, and there is a clear shortage. The current spike in demand for temporary workers can be seen as a compromise, as employers are increasingly desperate to fill open roles and can take on these candidates more quickly than for permanent equivalents. It is an indication of the resilience of demand, particularly for experienced multilingual candidates," says Japan-based Hays Operations Director, Asia, Christine Wright.
