More elderly in Japan willing to work: report

According to a Japanese Government White Paper on Elderly Society, more elderly in Japan want to work. And yet the employment rate for those in their 60s who are interested to work is less than 40 per cent. With the national deficit continuing to grow, the fact that more senior citizens are willing to work instead of relying on pensions must be good news.
