As this year’s crop of newly hired corporate employees settle into their jobs, more than 70 percent of companies looking forward to hiring for spring 2017 say they plan to employ a similar or greater number of new graduates that year, according to a survey of 100 major Japanese companies conducted by The Yomiuri Shimbun and NTV.
