Job openings ratio increases to highest level since 1990

TOKYO (Jiji Press) — The Health, Labor and Welfare Ministry reported Friday that the country’s average ratio of job openings to seekers in the year that ended last month rose 0.16 points from the previous year to 1.39, the highest score since it hit 1.43 in fiscal 1990, when Japan was still in an asset bubble-led boom.
