MANILA - The third group of Philippine caregivers who have the chance to work in Japan under an economic partnership agreement between the two countries left Manila on Monday, officials said.
The 60 candidates, 11 men and 49 women, will first undergo six months training in Japanese language in Chiba and Aichi prefectures before they will be deployed to health care facilities in several parts of Japan, Hiroya Yaguchi of the Japan International Corporation of Welfare Services said.
