Global Retirement Update (March 2013)

Employers in Japan are reminded that they must review their labor-management agreements in order to comply with the amended Act for the Stabilization of Employment of Older Persons. Under the amended Act, employers must continue to provide employment to any employee who wants to remain employed until he or she reaches age 65.
