    Tokyo - Infosys Limited announced a donation of JPY 20,105,541 (US$ 259,695) towards relief and rebuilding efforts for the victims of the 2011 earthquake off the Pacific coast of Tohoku in Japan. The contributions have been made voluntarily by 133,500 Infosys employees belonging to 88 different nationalities from across the globe.

    Between February and July 2011, recruiting experts Hays has experienced an 80 per cent increase in the number of jobs registered in the Kansai region, and a 70 per cent increase in the number of candidates looking for a new job in that region.

    This redistribution of teams more widely across Japan, instead of concentrating them in Tokyo, is changing the face of Japan's workplace, according to Hays.
