My thoughts are with all those affected by the earthquake, Tsunamis and dreadful after-effects of these in NE of Honshu.  We hope that the after-shocks diminish and that life for the survivors can return to near normal.  The feeling of frustration that we cannot help from here is considerable. Our thoughts also go out to those in the expat communities, in the UK and elsewhere, whose families are at home in Japan and trust they are all safe.
