    Dear All,

Today, March 11, 2012, marks the 1st year anniversary of the 3/11 Earthquake that struck Japan and left unimaginable loss of lives and properties to her people.

At 14:26 (2:46pm)/JST, we enjoin everyone to take a moment of silence and prayers not only to remember all those lives lost in this tragedy but also to all survivors and their families for continued strength and courage to move forward, rebuild their lives, and come out as a stronger nation and people out of this tragedy.

We also encourage everyone to take this opportunity to post your message of bond and solidarity with Japan and her people through this forum.

    Kizuna, Nippon!

    To Japan and her people,

There are millions of Americans thinking today of the Japanese people and their difficult but brave recovery from the terrible events of March 11, 2011. We have known our own disasters (although none like Japan's). We also know the comfort that comes from the best wishes of other people around the world. Today, those wishes move your way.

    Sincerely yours,
    Stephenie Overman

"May the spirit of Japan comfort the people of Japan during this time of reflection, and contemplation. As a practicing Buddhist, and spiritual enthusiast as well as an actor, singer, dancer, and musician my heart is from the east in the that i believe in loving kindness and compassion as well as many lives beyond this one. May the devas comfort you, and the celestials provide you with peace, and may the spirit flourish on among you as your recover. With respect to War I have no comment for I do not endorse it for any reason except to save oneself from immediate bodily injury. So I don't understand the threat at this time. Our information is not accurate."

"Your tragedy, and the courage of the Japanese people in the aftermath of this tragedy, deserves a lot more than a moment of silent prayer. What we can all do, in addition to giving you our prayers, is to provide tangible help through continued donations to organizations that are focused on relief and rebuilding in Japan. We've just made our donation, and I hope that everyone in this discussion group will consider making theirs."

Time does help to heal, but only partially."

I was at Kyoto Memorial Marathon, yesterday !5,000 ran charity. We prayed at 8:00 before the rave and at 14:46 after the race.

    15,854 dead, 3,155 still missing, 26,992 injured, 343,953 refuges . . .  it's is not over, it is just a start.

Let's continue to pray and never forget.

Love to all the people in Japan and especially Tohoku who are still displaced, rebuilding, and finding their footing again.  A year on, still many hardships, so let's keep the focus on working together and supporting each other.
